So, why can you offer these programs to us?

We know your first reaction is to say that we've never heard of you or these benefits. Select Benefits is the Administrator that we chose to administer the benefits to our members and they have been offering health and lifestyle benefits nationwide for over 19 years under various private branded group names. The availability of these programs up until the last few years was limited to companies or groups with enrollments of 10,000 or more due to vendor regulations.

One small example is that the vision benefit available through this new association has been used by companies such as Coca Cola, BF Goodrich, Ralston Purina and the US Federal Government for over 10 years and was never offered to smaller groups.

Why hasn't my insurance agent ever told me about these programs?

Most agents do not have any expertise or understanding of these non-insurance based programs. They focus on insurance based products that yield high commissions because that's where they make most their money. Agents will only show you the products they are licensed to sell. Our products like vision, dental, legal, shopping, simply are not programs they would make much commission on, and we are not agents so we can pass the savings onto you and your family.
